About us

Basketball Career is a free basketball career simulator built for basketball fans in the United States. You play one American player's whole career, men's or women's: high school and the summer circuit, college or an early pro deal, the Pro Draft, the playoffs, the national team, maybe a winter overseas. You make one decision each offseason, and the whole career takes a few minutes.

Why we built it

Career modes in big basketball games take hours. We wanted something you can play on a phone on the bus, in line or during a timeout that still feels like a real career: offers that depend on how good you are, roles you have to earn, contract years, trade requests, playoff heartbreak and a draft night that changes everything.

We also wanted it to feel American, because the American path is its own thing: recruiting, NIL, the transfer portal, one-and-done, the draft lottery, two-way deals and restricted free agency. The women's game has its own rules and stories too, from four years of college to winters overseas, so both are in.

What we care about

• Fast. A full career in about ten minutes, with nothing to install.
• Fair. Most career moments show you the odds before you choose.
• Both games. Men's and women's careers, each built around how that game works.
• Private. No account. Your career saves on your device. Analytics only runs if you allow it, and there are no ads.
• Fictional. Every team, league, school, competition and player in the game is invented. We're not affiliated with any league, team, college association or federation.
